Our beautiful National Show of African Violets for 2006 was hosted by the Ottawa African Violet Society at the Travelodge Hotel and Convention Centre - Ottawa West, May 3-6, 2006.

The show featured many remarkable plants and designs, not just the award winners listed here but hundreds of others. We are pleased to share the list of award winners and some of the photographs taken of the winning plants with you.

Frozen in Time, a plant with white blossoms edged in green and variegated foliage, was Best in Show at the 2006 Convention Show in Ottawa. Please visit our Photo Gallery 2006 to see other winners from this show.

 

Fancy Trail was Second Best Variegated and Second Best Trailer in the show.

This fine plant of Bogeyman is an example of the many excellent semiminiature and miniature African violets in the show.
